Cheryl D Lindsay, M.S., (S-LP), Registered Speech-Language Pathologist, is originally from Winnipegg, Manitoba, and graduated from Minot State University, North Dakota in 1998, with Master of Science Degree in Communication Disorders. She has worked in several clinical settings in several states, with a highly varied background in the treatment of children, as well as adults. She has lived and practiced in the Grey-Bruce area since 1999. She currently lives in Durham with her husband, daughter and son.

Our private clinic is centrally located in Hanover, ON. We service a wide area, both in the clinic and out in the community. We offer assessment and treatment services for a wide variety of communication disorders. We have a strong reputation in the community for personal and individualized care of individuals, who’s communication disorders vary in presentation and severity.
Specialties: -pediatric/school-aged children with articulation disorders, receptive and/or expressive language delays, stuttering, voice, at risk infants,hearing impairments, cleft lip/palate, autism spectrum disorders, social language problems, oral motor/feeding difficulties and learning/developmental disabilities -community adult rehab for motor speech disorders, stroke, TBI, swallowing, stuttering and voice problems.

Cheryl has lived and practiced in the Grey-Bruce area since 1999 in a wide variety of clinical settings. She has received specialized training in several Hanen® courses, and engaged in continuing education related to autism spectrum disorders, oral motor disorders and auditory processing disorders. She has owned and operated a private practice since 2003. She received the S.Co.B.E. Award for Entrepreneur of the Year from the Saugeen Business Development Corporation in 2009.  Cheryl is an active board member with the Grey Bruce Youth Literacy Council. She regularly mentors high school, college and university students interested in pursuing speech therapy as a career.

Cheryl has an extensive background working with pediatric and school-aged children with articulation disorders, delays in understanding (receptive) and/or use of (expressive) language, stuttering, voice problems, at risk infants due to prenatal and birth complications, hearing impairments, cleft lip/palate, autism/pervasive development disorder, social language problems, oral motor and/or feeding difficulties and learning or other developmental disabilities. Cheryl has also worked in the community with adults, providing rehabilitation for motor speech disorders, stroke, traumatic brain injury, swallowing disorders, stuttering and voice problems.

Maureen Barclay, Speech Language Pathology- Assistant (SLP-A)

Maureen was raised on a dairy farm near Chepstow, Ontario. She graduated from Centralia College in 1982 with a diploma in Animal Health Technician. She has practiced in a variety of veterinary clinics, spanning 20 years. She completed her training as  an Educational Assistant  at Georgian College and has recently graduated from  the distance education,  Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program at Grant MacEwan University. Her and her husband purchased Maureen’s home farm, where they live and have raised their four children.

Denise Cantlon, Speech Language Therapy-Assistant (SLP-A)

Denise was raised on a dairy farm between Simcoe and Port Dover, Ontario. Her formal education includes a diploma from Centralia College as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph. Since moving to the Bruce-Grey area in 1988, Denise has worked as an educational assistant for both public and Catholic local school boards.  She has recently graduated from the distance education, Speech Language Pathologist Assistant at Grant MacEwan University. Denise now resides north of Hanover, with her husband; they have three children.
